Stealth Umbrella opens up to look like an F-117 Stealth Plane.
It doesn't keep the rain off you any better, but you never have to worry about radar detection, and you get to peer out through the clear plastic angled canopy part if you lower it down far enough over your head on a windy day.
Looks
like image in link when fully open, only with an upright shaft. (too lazy to transfer note book drawing tonight)

Stealth Umbrella exists in nature!
http://img.thesun.c...SNN0525A_22769a.jpg can you believe it? [k_sra, Mar 12 2009]
It's got a windshield (on a plane, it's called a canopy)

Bound to end in musical formation re-enactments of bombing raids on Baghdad. |

you better go have a look at the link, [xenzag]. someone has set you up the bomb. |
|
| |
I don't see any windscreen on the link. |
|
| |
true, it's the blind man's stealth umbrella. |
|
| |
It's got windows. Look just forward of the apex of the plane, where all the angles form a point at the top. I posted a link to a picture of one with the canopy raised so you can see where it's at. |

I'm bunning this because it would go great with the F-117-shaped watch I had when I was a kid. The time was displayed on a little panel that slid out at the push of a button. Had an alarm and everything. Truly a shame I don't still have it, it was my favorite watch of all time. Did a bunch of searching online, and I can't find it anywhere. The only "F-117" watch isn't even shaped like an F-117 and costs $537.36! |

i believe [FlyingToaster]'s comment was directed at the umbie rather than the plane. |

That thing is very similar indeed! How strange is that? Of course it has none of the necessary military references, especially the essential canopy. |
|

no windscreen makes it a drone umbrella |
|
| |
then it should be able to walk around in the rain without you |
|
| |
aha! [vfrackis] has just given me something else to want... a drone umbrella! :) |

That'd be simple, k_sra. Put a helim sac in the top of it for lift and a multidirectional fan in the rear for populsion and attitude adjustment. Sync it with a Bluetooth-enabled cellphone and it'll follow you faithfully wherever you go. Upon detecting an increase in ozone or humidity, it will immediately take up postition directly above you. If the wind becomes too much for its fan to maintain control, a thin rope drops down with a little toy soldier on the end for you to grab. |
