       It occurs to me that the reduced gravity and thin atmosphere of Mars ought to support giant tumbleweeds at least the size of small houses.   

       The Moon's relative lack of atmosphere makes it a less likely option, but maybe there's a place for really slow ones which "blow" under the force of radiation pressure from the Sun, always sticking to a band of ground just in advance of the lunar sunrise?
