Take a standard vacuum cleaner, add an ultrasonic transmitter to the head of the cleaner, the ultrasonic waves will vibrate and loosen the dirt particles, making for more efficient vacuuming.

Description (displayed with the short name and URL.)

I mean this to be a dry vacuum cleaner for everyday use, not a "wet" system. Although I now think ultrasonic might be the wrong choice of frequency, perhaps a lower frequency would work better, this idea is meant to replace those "turbo head brushes" which over time must damage carpet?
