When I first saw this idea, I thought it was going to be about flowers. |
|

What in the H E Double Hockey Sticks is this? |
|
| |
How many occasions have battery op(p)erated lights? |
|
| |
Leave the dead alone. This idea just gives me one more reason to be cremated and have my ashes dumped out on the muck pile. |
|
| |
Would the lights be pre-arranged in a certain fashion to
fit a single occasion, or would the lighting be
programmable somehow, so that one wreath could be set
to fit a wide variety of occasions? |
|
| |
come on boys, ease off - you're bullying poor anne now. Give her the chance to come back and explain more. Or to delete the idea. |
|

like whether they're going to produce subliminal messages - the overall lighting layout says 'sadly missed' but the LEDs surrounding every bulb say 'good bloody riddance this guy really made my life a living hell' at a high refresh rate. |
|

And the wobbly stick should change the verb tense every 24 hours so that people would look at it every day. |
|

Good question, UnaBubba. I was wondering that myself. |

It occurs to me that I'd really like to attend a HalfBaked Funeral, if the above are truly indicative of our last requests ... |

What if the batteries die? |
|
| |
Then you will need an additional wreath to memorialize
the batteries. |
|

This is baked anyway...near where I live there's a cemetary that every xmas has a small tree with battery lights, and every Thanksgiving has a full dinner. |
|
| |
Does the food actually get eaten? By something other than the neighborhood cats/dogs? |
|
| |
Don't know about wreaths, but I've thought that a white LED to illuminate a grave at night might be an easier alternative to using candles for that purpose. A decent battery could probably operate such a thing (dimly) for a year. |

| |
Perhaps you could have a photo of yourself on the headstone, with two red LED's for eyes? |
|
| |
Susen: I doubt it, but never cared to look that close. Once or twice I could see, but this has been going on for fifteen years. |

Id rather have a mini light bar from a patrol car built into the headstone that operated at random...i reckon it would cut down on the vandalism..... |
