When I was a child, I saw an article on building your house into the side of a hill, to use the earth around the house to keep the house warm in winter and cool in summer. So I think that makes this Baked, in intent if not implementation. |

Ditto, though I doubt a single residential pool could hold enough heat to last all winter. I've typically seen this done with a gravel pit. |
