think about lugging that huge back-pack around all day, BUT, what if it was light enough to, say, carry with one finger, a regular backpack, only there are giant sacs at the around it that you fill with helium so its as light as a feather.

Annotation:

These would have to be very large and cumbersome sacks.

Maybe units lift per unit volume of helium should be in the help file.

Weight relieving, helium ideas are old hat.

You want to fill a hat with helium? And [texticle], he's obviously going to use compressed helium, durrrr.

       Not again!

The amount of helium you would need to make a backpack near weightless, you'll be toting a blimp around.

This one is almost up there with the lullaballoon!

And this idea would only work in an environment with no wind.
