i like the idea, not because of the touch issue, but because of the comfort the extra legroom this design would afford. it would also make an interesting platform for electrification due to the low-and-long chassis (for battery mounting). |

This is what sidecars are for, is it not? Anyway, it's kinda baked. Have you ever seen a Honda GoldWing? I'll look for a link. The problem with elongating the motorcycle is that handling would be a total b*tch at the kinds of speeds motorcycles achieve. Sorry, it's too dangerous. |
