In this slither derivative, play is on rotating transparent 3D surface. As stages progress the shapes get more complicated spheres , tori, a variety of Roman surfaces that make playable volumes.
The shapes have a special marker and wormholes.
If a special marker is obtained, A strike is then
playable. A strike cuts a plane through the shape. The snake can now also travel on this plane.
Wormholes are places to where the worm can travel through to different parts of the shape. The wormhole paths are seen . Playing a strike also cuts these curves making new holes the slithers can enter and exit .
Travelling around the surface allows one to form a mental image of the best strike (plane cut) for the best time to traverse and win.
Thanks HChrist

Its gotta be so that you can zoom bigger and bigger and end
up small. |

[bigsleep] Thanks.Trying. The words don't flow. A bit of a gap between mind pictures and words on a page. |

[JesusH] That would then be a Klein bottled scaling action rather than a hyperbola thing, |

I don't see how a more complex playing surface improves the game. |

The brilliance of Slither is that it is such a simple idea - move around, and don't hit things. Yet people still hit things. |
|
|
Making it more complex isn't going to improve it. |

True the simple ones tend to be more addictive. Although, this derivative would have some good artistic candy and be geometrically didactic, even if only played a couple of times. |

You might be able to compensate for the complexity by reducing
the tempo. Play-by-mail slither might become feasible. |
