Product: Shampoo
Human Product   (+2, -2)  [vote for, against]
It's soap, it's food, it's medicinal, it's... what else.

Ripped off from the Soap Soap idea.

One single product that supplies all a human's needs. Cleans, feeds, hydrates, heals injuries.

It's soap you can eat when you're hungry, drink when you're thirsty, apply to wounds when you're injured. (Which was actually minoradjustments idea, I just stole it.)

Leave the actual formula to the guys in the research department.

The idea was lifted from minoradjustments "Soap soup" annotation. Soap_20Soap
So I really had very little to do with this. [doctorremulac3, Nov 08 2023]

Aha!

They do make men's body soap and shampoo. Just make it edible and you have a thing.

The commercial would certainly get your attention. Guy in the shower, lathering up, "Hmm, pretty hungry" then guzzles a bunch of Manpoofood. The poo being from shampoo, not poo from... okay, scratch that.

If it were going to be analogous to Soap Soap, it would have to be not a Human Product but a Product Product. That might be a product that buys or sells products. So, Alexa, I suppose.

A Human Human would be more of a challenge. If a Soap Soap is something which stands in the same relation to soap as soap does to a human, then a Human Human would have to stand in the same relation to a human as a human does to a human. So, just a human, really. Hard to commoditise because, even if each actual human were, in fact, equally vain, their vanity would induce them to think they were special.

Make a series of embodied Siris, such that each Siri thought that she was the *best* Siri and, once they start talking to each other, the factory will burn down in the resulting riot.

I've just realized that I entirely misread the intent of this idea.

beer

[poc] is correct: BEER meets all needs. Due to its high B vitamin content, it is possible to live on Guinness alone for an extended time period. A half pint of dark beer a day is prescribed for nervous vitamin- and mineral-deficient pregnant/nursing mothers. Hops tea is a well-known sleep aid, but beer tastes better. Beer has a better outcome than commercial preparations when used on skin and scalp infections; bathing in beer can reverse stubborn psoriasis. Put it solid form and there you have it: a Beer Bar !
