Imagine a giant mousetrap mounted on a car. When its set, the bar will be pulled to the back of the car, and the trigger device will be the windshield wipers. As soon as the meter maid goes to lift the windshield wipers to stick your ticket there *WHAM*! It would make them think twice about giving
you a ticket.
As I could possibly forsee some legal problems here, it could also be offered as a non-functional novelty item.

it wouldn't really NEED to work. If I was a meter-maid and saw what looked like a huge mousetrap aimed right at my hand, I would not want to see if it was real or not. |
