Artificial soap operas
Computer generated soap operas

Surely now with the advent of fantastic computer graphics and artificial intelligence, these two diciplines could be combined to generate soap operas for public consumption. I mean they couldn't be any worse than what we have now, could they? Maybe they could be cyclic with a seamless joining of the beginning plot, with the end over, say, a ten year cycle. I'm beginning to quite worry myself.

*As The Flamewar Burns* is one of the soaps which plays regularly here. Sporadic schedule, though.

Halfbaked on Futurama: "All My Circuits", starring Calculon. An all-robot soap opera.

As opposed to the totally realistic, highly believable, documentary-style soap operas currently available?

Don't tell anyone that the story is computer generated. Make it a Turing test.

This reminds me of the practice of generating trashy novels and pornography with (mechanical) machines for the proles in 1984.
