Enjoy casual dining and drinks under the stars in a Jacuzzi(TM) with friends on the rooftop of the tallest building in your city (indoor hot tubs also available). Each hot tub has a table in the middle for comfortable dining. A DJ spins classic rock and roaming bartenders fix drinks from their carts at each table. Large hot tubs available for parties of 10 or more with reservations made at least 3 weeks in advance. 21 and over. Bring your own swimsuit and towel.

Add this for dinner and a show. [Worldgineer, Oct 05 2004]

Google is your friend, [contracts]. [Aude Sapere, Oct 05 2004]

Seems redundant to this idea in any case. [jurist, Oct 05 2004]

Don't drink and soak? http://www.olympich...alth_guidelines.htm
"Spa heat accelerates the effects of alcohol and drugs." And here I've been drinking dry like a sucker. [Worldgineer, Oct 05 2004]

Very nice. I've always thought there is a market for high-class hot tubbing.
Worldgineer, Aug 24 2004

Nice link, [World]--I like your idea.
Machiavelli, Aug 24 2004

I think together we can create a new fashion market for swimming suit evening wear. (runs off and searches through [FarmerJohn] ideas)
Worldgineer, Aug 24 2004

Don't forget the part where we'll be surrounded by gigolos! That's my favorite part. So while you'll be in your gold bikini, what will I be wearing? Or *will* I be wearing anything? Hmmm...Hey, I know! I'll be sporting [Farmer John]'s latest swimsuit creation (thanks for the idea, [World]).
Machiavelli, Aug 24 2004

bwv, only way you could have made that better would have been with the obligatory Bach cantata reference.

Bun for the idea, which is quite a lovely thought, but in reality the atmosphere would all depend on the clientele...all it would take would be that one drunk and horny couple to make it all start feeling a bit dodgy...
Etymon, Aug 24 2004

You had me pissing myself, [Bach]!!! You've got some wicked rhymin' skills. I loved the reference to [destructionism]. And //bagpipes, some Bee Gees, and Homestar saying "What?"// Can it get any better than that?
Machiavelli, Aug 24 2004

I'll be there. But BV must be the house act!

       Word.
wagster, Aug 24 2004

[wags], if [Bach] won't do it, no one will. We'll have her lowered onto the roof via helicopter, sitting on a swing, a la Studio 54.
Machiavelli, Aug 24 2004

       Nice atmosphere. +
sartep, Aug 24 2004

       Hmm....I'd never leave. [+]!

       Is beach bum attire welcome?
destructionism, Aug 24 2004

[destructionism], as long as they're not little Speedos, you can wear anything you want. *chortle*
Machiavelli, Aug 24 2004

I see you've been looking at the photo in my yahoo profile, [contracts]. What, you don't think flabby knees (and everything else) is sexy??? What's wrong witchyoo?
Machiavelli, Aug 24 2004

Oh stop it, you...I sprayed my computer with the water I was trying to drink while reading your anno. ***mumbling*** At least it was water...
Machiavelli, Aug 24 2004

What is this, the Mach & Bach mutual appreciation society?
goff, Aug 25 2004

Roaming bartenders? Better to have a sleek bar set to one side with drinks orders taken and set down by hotpants wearing rollerskaters (both sexes).

Also, there will have to be a snooty doorman to dispense verruca socks to those with ill feet.
calum, Aug 25 2004

[contracts] Don't let that picture fool you. She was just very dehydrated. Get her in the water and those wrinkles will disappear. And the hair's not gray. It's "platinum blonde".
destructionism, Aug 25 2004

Not to crash the Mach/Bach party, but would bacteria be problematic? Keeping hot tubs free of microbes and suchlike is already a concern before bringing food into the mix.
Aude Sapere, Aug 25 2004

Party pooper. Sorry [Aude], had to get that in there. Isn't that what chlorine is for--to kill bacteria?

[contracts], what DID happen to you? What are you getting your knickers in a twist about?
Machiavelli, Aug 25 2004

[Aude] I would think this is just a matter of how much you want to spend on replacing the water and how much chemicals you're willing to put up with. Being outside would help (sun kills microbes), but I don't see a reason this can't be done indoors as well. Pool bars are certainly common in tropical hotels, and I don't know that they've had any problems.
Worldgineer, Aug 25 2004

Baked everywhere. Not a new idea. Was everyone who voted for this idea drunk and in the same hot tub???
python, Aug 28 2004

Anything that helps you to relax and enjoy has my approval. Why should we pass on the little pleasures of life? . Problem is, where must I go to find a Bubbly's ?. Perhaps I can open one myself (the wolves around here will do good customers). Croissant (I will not say bum again).
finflazo, Aug 29 2004

Okay, I concede that this has been baked, thanks to the 2 links above. But mine sounds like more fun. **run for the hills before anyone can say I'm being conceited**
Machiavelli, Aug 29 2004

Will you bill me later, [Bach]? **chuckle**
Machiavelli, Aug 29 2004

Who dropped the carrot in the hot tub? No, really, it's somewhere under my foot.
destructionism, Aug 29 2004

Why would anyone think you would bullshit about your rates? Or care?
Lacus Trasumenus, Aug 30 2004

I get $380/hr, but after buying gas, and accounting for maintainance, parts, insurance, etc. it comes out to...let's see....$-25/hr. That can't be right. Ahh, I forgot a zero. $-250/hr.
destructionism, Aug 30 2004

now, what was the idea again?
xx, Aug 30 2004

No kidding, [xx]. Even I forgot.
Machiavelli, Aug 30 2004

Hold on a minute. I seem to recall a warning on hot tubs. Something about not drinking while soaking. Would that be a problem?

(later) Never mind, it helps your buzz (see link). You could probably water down the drinks and nobody would notice.
