Catalytic Consortium

Completely unrecognized by the public they unknowingly protect, the Catalytic Consortium are unwitting participants in the most completely catastrophic, cliff-hanging close calls, countering cunningly connived crimes conceived by countless chaotically criminal craniums. They do not fight crime or
injustice directly, rather fate fights these battles through them.
An action as simple as a man stooping to pick a penny from the pavement, has a ripple effect which causes a would be purse snatcher to veer suddenly to the side in order to avoid Frugal Man in a collision which could waste precious seconds of escape time. This causes the would be thief to loose footing on a recently spilled bottle of oil vinaigrette which Klutz Girl is on her way to mop up.
Momentarily blinded by the reflected sunlight from the compact disk that Boom-box Boy is in the process of ejecting from his portable stereo the thief crashes headlong into the un-set concrete of a newly repaired sidewalk, which Masonry Man is sauntering away from, to unconsciously await police custody.
It's all in a days work...or is it?

Looks like your Catalytic Consortium killed the dude. Think about it. Hope I never unknowingly knock someone off. I wouldn't be traumatized by it for years to come. |
