The Grill Hat is a snazzy top hat or fez with a tiny, portable propane burner set inside the top. [see link for burner - not hat] The actual top of the hat opens to expose the burner and leave room around the top for the small flame. This is useful for a spontaneous marshmallow roast, reheating your
breakfast sausage or making toast while out and about. Inserts that run vertically inside the hat contain skewers for holding your food. Optional grate for laying food onto directly can be purchased separately .
Of course it's advisable to remove the hat and place on a steady surface for safety. An excellent hat to wear when you are standing in line waiting for tickets, or just taking a walk in the park and get the urge for some warm food.

Make the toast of the town while you travel with your topper. [+] |

Ha. This just gave me a visual of Charlie Chaplin wandering nonchalantly through a market place swiping food and grilling his lunch on his head while misdirecting the shopkeepers. |
Optional extras; tiny wok, and fondue pot. |
Research indicates that tiny alcohol-burning stoves will be lighter on the neck. Plus you can store the fuel (Everclear, where available, is an option) in a flask. |
thanks for the extras! I love them...also great link[Jin]!! (hehe stove pipe hat!!) no puns allowed! |
thanks for the great links, but not really redundant with *Kabab head wrap* as I see no heating element in that idea. |

Nice, you hot head, or did someone already say that
and I missed it when scanning the other's annos? |
How does this differ from a miner's carbide head lantern? |
What do you mean 'no puns allowed'? You're just lucky that
you used the word 'snazzy' - otherwise your bun would be in
jeopardy... |

wonder if there is a fire danger to my duck suit? keep my head warm at the park though. |

I was about to post Fire Hat, which was to be a
simple hat with piped-in propane and a small nozzle,
allowing a flame to burn continuously over the
wearer's head. |
The purpose of the Fire Hat, of course, is purely for
the joy of walking around with a constant flame
above one's head. Howevertheless, the Grill Hat
would accomplish something very similar, and
therefore redunds my Fire Hat. |

Wow, you churned one of my ideas [Max]! You would look
dashing in one of these! Meet me for lunch? (or half-of-lunch) |
I have been working on my juggling skills so, if we
can get the flame set correctly, I can do toasted
marshmallows three at a time. |
This is much more practical than the BUNGCO "grill
shorts" concept garment. Although even now with
no fire, the drip pan comes in handy. |
