A vertical tumbler, like a big movie film canister, that tumbles your
grill grate with small pumice stones. Preferably incorporated into a
solar or wind-powered sculpture. It would have an auto shutoff after x
number of turns.
Put the grate top in the canister when you're done grilling, and
it will
be ready to be rinsed and used the next evening.

Another grate way to clean a great is to let the dogs lick it off
when it's cool enough, then run it through the dishwasher. That's
how I do most of my pots and pans. |

Well that's convenient. One less steak I have to grill when I host
the next Halfcon. And my steaks are legendary. |

Barbecue grills see some pretty sanitizing temperatures, so I'll have a {21} steak, medium rare please. Not so sure I'll ask him to do my laundry, though. |

I find the best way to get grease stains out is to pour a can of
Coca Cola in the machine, then wash it again with detergent.
Little trick I learned in the Service, works great for hydraulic fluid
and engine oil, too. |
