I'm beginning to show wear and tear on the old human graphic interface components, and wondering how far off repair mode for my hardware may be.

But I am not too thrilled about using voice to text for copy/cut/pasting et al.

Why not adapt motion capture technology to QWERTY inputs so that you could get a healthy workout in your office every day?

Working in gym clothes, stepping to and fro while gesturing, nodding and blinking to answer emails and create process documentation would help you stay in good physical creation - or break you, depending on your caseload.

That's an ugly image, [norm] ... look, if we fix the stuff on your snag list without Assimilating you, free of charge, will you please not mention it again ?

Gym clothes... this is lycra, right ? Over a certain age, lycra's a very bad and frightening thing to make garments from.

Yeah, the days when I could wear tights and get compliments are behind me now. But for those little motion capture indexing thingies to be properly calibrated, I may have to go there.

I appreciate the offer of complimentary maintenance but your organization doesn't have much of a reputation for customer service.

Hmmm .... Somber colors or something safety oriented ?

Ooooh, harsh ... just because a couple of BorgCo products have had some very minor problems in the early versions ...

You're starting to sound more and more like another of those bloody coroners, carping buggers they are ...

I'm pleased to announce that I am currently profitably engaged in the wage slave world again - and circumstances lead me here.

I just acquired my first handbrain - err, smartphone. I was hoping for a good speech-to-text document tool, but the holy grail seems a ways away still.
