Could be attached to software to give you the feeling of driving or flying (with flight simulator).

The idea isn't to make an expensive thing, just a simple up down every once in a while this way or that chair.

Could also be implemented by having an inflateable cusion with different parts getting inflated and deflated (is that the way to say it?).

So... this isn't a Poltergeist chair?

I have a chair designed to make you feel like you're in the front row of a rock concert, or right down beside a symphony orchestra. Vibrating speakers throughout the chair do it. Put on a headset, and someone sitting right next to you only hears a vague rumbling.
Now if only it moved! Maybe the motion controllers can be similar in design to force feedback joysticks.
