This could apply to any geographical tracking technology such as mobile phone tracking or GPS. The raw tracking data from millions of individuals is fed into the search function (or this could be farmed out across the internet, like SETI).

Then, the individual whose entire end-to-end journey for a given day shows, when drawn on a map, the rudest word in the neatest writing wins a small prize.

Amazing, Calum. I'm staggered! I couldn't even do that with an Etch-a-Sketch(tm), let alone plan a journey around it.

hmmn, it's surprising(ish) that no one's tried to graffiti an entire contintent in this way. I guess it's difficult to verify. Excellent idea (+).

Actually, I heard the guy tried to write the 'U' but the car didn't float very well.
He should have started it in Wales, where legend has it that men are men, and Sheep are scared.
