This probably counts as a WTCTTISITMWIBNIIWR?, but I'm suprised it hasn't been posted before. A 5 inch plastic sphere with a mechanically rotating bar of 480 minature RGB LEDs hooked up to a scan converter. The bar scans horizontally while the LEDs display the picture vertically. Perfect decor for a
medieval place.

OK, believe it or not, this is baked... Am looking for the link now, but have defintely seen something similar in a catalogue from the people who make those huge video screens you see at concerts. Only theirs was cooler by virtue of being ten foot tall. |
