Move blankets and stay warm withg them

All sides of this blanket would have electromechanical actuators. It would have a relatively simple control box. It would squirm like a snake and attempt to maintain position at all corners of the bed.

       So, is this blanket a vast sheet of synthetic muscle? Or is it made mostly of blanket, but with a scrabbling robotic hand at each corner? Or something else?

       The human foreskin* is actually muscle, involuntary, smooth muscle tissue. Just as well it is involuntary — if we had control over it, productivity would plummet to levels not seen since 2008 when facebook came onto the scene.
