My wife and I spent a couple of weeks in Cancun recently.
I don't know what it is about the light down there but it stabs my eyes something fierce without sunglasses. I need to wear contact lenses for scuba and left my shades in a locker at the dive shop so the boat ride back to shore was a bit of agony and I made a note to post the idea of auto darkening contact lenses when we got back.
