what the shoe needs:
1 "shoe-mail" this will show off postseti@3Gshoe.org people who know your name see you ware the shoes
2"kick to dial"there 4 wind directions to kick in (one foot at a time) + left and a right single and duble stamping to navigate the menu.
3"video beamer" This will have to get a bit smaler to fit in the shoe.
4"shoe-numbers" To avoid people contacting your wrong pare. Shoe-numbers have not been invented yet except as Graceful soft and thundering hard shoe-numbers.
5"whistles when walks" To enjoy your walk just whislte along.

6"whistles to other sexes" The cheaper dezines make more noize.
7"fridge kick-in point" Now you can see what's in your fridge after geting to the suppermarket.
8"car and radio adjust" Seat and radio get your personal settings by geting the shoe's in the car, the alarm wil go off as you get closer to the car.
9"stats of weight" You can have a message out loud each time you get on your feet.
10"stats of walking speed " The more sporty types can use them to.

11"stats of how often you sit" This will show you how active you are.
12"stats of any other weight shifting" How many weard and iregular movements you make.
13"use the stats in your resume" Show of to employers how bussy you are (and get them shoes payed)
14"colored smoke"A smoke signal based caler id system.
15"GPS" To find your way in the smoke and to work.

In general the shoe is a large and heavy object we take any ware we go, now I'm not suggesting to put drinks and food in them just some electronics, so you don't have to carry around all parts of the gsm, mp3-player battery and personal data carrier in your poked (if you have any) A belt or A vest just won't work as well. (edit)

Yes these shoes can be used in many ways.

There was a time when stories, true or not, talked about youngsters who would literally kill for a pair of sneakers. Not just any sneakers, of course, but those of the famous, well-advertised brands that became the symbol of chic. Nike, Reebok and other athletic shoe companies were the glamour brands of the footwear industry.

That was deleted by intention. Not a good thing to do, unless its for chruning reasons. This sort of stuff brands you as a troll. But i can see that you aren't. Saying something is almost a Movie WIBNI, isn't the same as saying that it is. if it was, this would be m-f-d'd, but its not, and so it isn't. Do not delete this again.

For bakers, i reveal to you, the missing notes from 3G Shoe Phone:

Almost a WIBCITTISITMWR in the vain of Dick Tracy, etc.

I assumme that was a mistake, you deleting my post.

       [ sctld ], Jul 06 2002

a "WIBCITTISITMWR" or a "ILJHIWGUQBSKLJNB" is there a diference?

       postseti, Jul 06 2002

'Wouldn't It Be Cool If That Thing I Saw In That Movie Was Real'

I suggest you read the help file if you wish more information.

ILJHIWGUQBSKLJNB, is the random typings of a right-handed moron. Or a cat.

ok ok not a WIBCITTISITMWR for the invention of shoe-numbers have not been invented yet except as Graceful soft shoe and thundering hard ~
haven't seen that 3G shoe movie. may I ad that it whistles as you walk in two different octaves.
postseti, Jul 06 2002

Dick Tracy had a dial, or maybe a proto-touch tone shoe, but that was about as far as it went.
[ sctld ], Jul 06 2002

Croissant. Didn't they have one in that old series, "Get Smart", too?

(Of course, to be fair, it wasn't as advanced as the one described here by [postseti]- and you appear to be a reincarnation of a past user, but as the newbie I am, I digress.) Welcome, earthling.
polartomato, Jul 06 2002

You can whistle along with a silly walk, and the mail and female versions can greet each other when walking by.

//Didn't they have one in that old series, "Get Smart", too? //

Just what I was thinking.

On a side note, several years ago I sat in the entrance to an electronics store waiting for a ride (I was fifteen). When strangers would walk past, I'd answer my shoe, and say "Hello? Yeah, hold on. Hey!" stranger looks over. "It's for you. I think it's the Pope (or 'your mom,' or whoever else I could think of)." Stranger then:
A- smiles and continues walking
B- shakes head and continues walking
C- makes motion to answer shoe, realizes what they're doing and continues walking
D- stares for a minute attempting to figure out what's going on, then looks around (searching for hidden camera maybe?)

you just don't meet strangers like you used to. eh?
po, Jul 06 2002

Yes the shoes can regress your mind activating your fantasy, normal shoes just ware off this you can keep in the closet as a diary of GPS footprints.
postseti, Jul 06 2002

       That's why it's an " extra optional option "

I feel like deleting this page, is that a good idea?

let's say a nokia nike venture will do some stock points. Plus it's so new it can self advertise.

posteti: great idea! Start with all the annotations.

thats right, first time, bliss. you are at home with your friends.
po, Jul 08 2002

I gave it a croissant before, on the strength of its potential - I feel this to have been realised in the revision of the idea. I'd give you another for that if I could. I'd give you a third just for the "point n kick" operating system.. very funny..

       I'm a bit worried - I understood postseti's last anno..

Yamahito, I made up this idea as a sort of mega pole pant's, AfroAssault made me try to turn it into something real by annotation of above(lol or SOJ) just to maintain the idea. I over did it a little (as usual) since the 15 chapters are only one line long it looked like failure to me, thanx for proving me wrong.

``Motorola is a company that listens more to its engineers, while Nokia listens more to its customers,'' said Stefan Daiberl, Interbrand's director of brand valuation.

Frost said that has changed and Motorola has set a target of making itself a top-10 brand within 3 years.

While he would not say what Motorola is spending on the television and print ad campaign, Frost, hired from athletic shoe giant Nike Inc. in 1999, said it would be $75 million or more above last year's level.

According to Taylor Nelson Sofres' media tracking firm, CMR, Motorola spent $25.3 million on advertising last year, down from more than $60 million in each of the three previous years.

It's conceivable for example that Nike could buy a no-name device and market it under its own flag. In this segment the battle is going to be more and more about brand rather than technology.
postseti, Jul 09 2002

In Nike's competitive arena, it already is. I'd be surprised if any of those £100 running shoes would be distinguishable from any costing a quarter as much if it weren't for the logo.

credit card information has never been this safe!!! as gps clealy point's out the robber he wil never be save!!
postseti, Jul 09 2002

Dick Tracy didn't have a shoe phone, he had a 2-way radio watch. It was Agent 86 in Get Smart who had the shoe phone. Please check on your cultural references more thoroughly.

       Are my shoes inspireing?
postseti, Jul 22 2002

Perhaps what's needed is a shoe with a [locally-triggered] ringer, so you can make it ring, then answer it becore handing it off to someone. If they heard it ring, they might be more inclined to believe that it's real (i.e. that someone was goofy enough to put a cell phone in a shoe).
