Moderator(s) select one submission per day consisting of any several objects and post it. Site-goers then attempt to invent/innovate the best use for the assortment of objects.

One of my favorite scenes in the movie Apollo 13 is when Nasa techies dump a box of supplies identical to those found on the capsule and are given the task of building an adapter for the CM cartridges to accept LM hoses.
One of the names for this type of creative thinking is Functional Freedom - (applies to attitudes toward the use of objects). |

That's a submodality transition. Starting your deep structure by addressing 'you' immediately linking to a kinesthetic modality (yours) but assigning it to an external item that we commonly feel (the fabric) and tying this directly in to something that we neither feel, nor are aware of as having any particular physical properties (your mind) but nevertheless it now becomes described as if it were (softening). |
