Don't you hate it when you run out of batteries while running? If you listen to tapes they start playing really slow. It's a drag. Well this idea is to help runners keep an even pace. A little knob on the device lets you set your mile time ( 8 min/mile... whatever ) When you run at the right speed the music is at the right speed-- when you slow down the music will too-- if you go too fast it sounds like chipmunks.

That's the idea.

Genuinely thought this was going to be a combined MP3/Pacemaker.

Though I would have though a pounding soundtrack with the thumps paced to your intended footfalls would be easier to keep pace to. After all, most of us can keep time when dancing to music, but playing an instrument at the right speed is beyong the average person.

But you'd know if it sounded wrong... right? I mean the pitch would be off too. David Bowie would sound like Bessy Smith.
