think you'd want to quote the plane's call sign (written on the side of it) rather than try to work out the flight number, which is a bit of effort. |

Easiest way to report is "Center, this is united flight 423, traffic at eleven o'clock appears to be flying erratically", the flight controllers should be able to tell who "traffic at eleven o'clock" is. |
