I read that skywriting is a fading art.
I would like to see more of it, so I thought games played in the sky would be fun.
2 planes could draw the Tic-Tac-Toe grid pretty easily. Then each plane would have its turn of making an X or 0 in one of the squares. Played like regular Tic-Tac- Toe, except
there would be a teammate on the ground in communication with the pilots to tell them where the open squares are. (There might be huge mirrors placed on the ground so the grid could be reflected back to the pilots, but I dont know the logistics of this.) [link]

Sounds like a pretty cool spectator sport, too. I'm not sure how popular it would be today, though, what with fuel prices so sky high (no pun intended). + for thought, though. |

[21 Quest] - no pun intended my donkey |

[xandram] - nice idea. Apparently sky writers these days arre lazy as they have 5 planes in a line formation and fly in a straight line printing the message like a dot matrix printer (without the noise) |
