With the right formulation of material, a quick drying spray from an aerosol can could be sprayed on your feet each morning and dry to a comfortable pair of socks that would last the whole day and could be peeled off and discarded. No more laundry. Comes in different colors. Great to take on trips. Saves space. Eliminates sorting and matching. Argyle perhaps?

How about some nice, warm, paraffin socks? http://best-priced-...ath2.html?E+scstore
Stick your feet in one of these and ease aches and pains while you're making your "socks".

I'd imagine it'd be uncomfortable to peel those socks off for anyone with any amount of hair on their feet. Yikes!

Well, I like the instant knitting idea, I have been working so hard on christmas gifts, I can't feel my fingers anymore.

       A great pair of knits.

The difference between Dolly, Cosmo and Women's Weekly?
Dolly tells you how to have an orgasm,
Cosmo tells you how to fake an orgasm,
Women's Weekly tells how to knit one.

Good find, DeGroof. I knew I'd seen this somewhere before...
