Connect two pogo sticks together with a 4ft. center bar. Now kids can bounce together. Circle and alternate bouncing is possible with the duogo stick. Solo pogo gets boring fast. Duogo adds a whole new dimension to this classic playtime activity.

This is good. If you added the optional fulcrum point attachment to the center of the duogo stick you have pogoteeter.

Also, maybe duogos could be added across several pogo sticks, each stick accepting two duogos. Then you could have a whole chain of attached pogoers.

       Pogogogogogo.

Put three or more together (triangle shape) and you needn't worry about falling...

       Weird. Beautiful, but weird. +

       Where did po-go?

... after the parents tandempogo, of course

Daisy, Daisy, give me a minute or two.
An idea crazy, I’ve just thought halfway through.
No ride on a giant’s shoulder, something else a little colder,
But you’ll look sweet, with both your feet
On pogo sticks built for two

       Instead of legs.

dont know about you but I got 3 legs

This will surely end in childrens' tears as do all pogo stick games sooner or later, but if done well it could be a team sport by the 2032 Olympics. +

Congrats, JOOTB. You've hit the magic number.

Ultimately, you could have a huge, rigid framework with standing room for a couple of hundred people supported by pogo-stick technology. To get it going, everyone would have to jump up and down very much in synchronisation but it would be really impressive once it got airborne.

Can't wait for synchronised pogoing to become an Olympic event.

If you have them attached in a chain, as [bristolz] suggests, is that a Ponga?

egbert, Nov 08 2002

"Will someone please think about the children?" This seems pretty dangerous. I mean, a solo pogo-er needs some balance and coordination to prevent falls. Imagine the added challenge of having to account for another person's idea of balance and timing.

XSarenkaX, Nov 08 2002

No, you came in the wrong entrance, bliss. That was the pogo bed, next door.

FarmerJohn, Nov 08 2002

"This seems pretty dangerous." Yes, like those horrid, horrible tandem bicycles.

bristolz, Nov 08 2002

HAHA!!! How about a tandem unicycle?

yuenp, Nov 08 2002

They have tandem unicycles, they are called super trick cycles or stupid trick cycles as the case mandates. Take this idea to the unicycling and juggling websites, maybe someone will try it out. Don't mention my name... jugglingdb.com-rec juggling and unicyclist.com/forums Boy would this be fun!

carjug4, Nov 30 2002

Damn! It seems that I thought of this a couple of years too late.... Bun anyway - it's a goodie.
