Press the button on your jacket which is wired up to two compressed air horns attached to the uppers of your shoes when the other public refuses to budge.

Let out loud audible honks.

I love it and would use regularly in my walk to and from work in London City

I thought you were advocating horns of the type that stereotypical Vikings have on their hats. That would give you some personal space, too.

but, but, why are they in your shoes?

"The meek shall inherit your shoes" ... I think thats outta the bible or something like that, right? ...

I think having the horns mounted on the shoes would be more surprising, and therefore more attention- getting, to the person in the way, because they don't expect a sound to come from behind them at ground level.

I would also like to suggest an improvement: Trigger the horn with some kind of foot gesture. That keeps the whole thing self-contained, and you don't have to have your hand free. Maybe tap the heel of one shoe to the toe of the other, and the harder/more times you tap, the more obnoxious the noise.
