Typical litter of clay is replaced with durable, absorbant plastic pellets, which can be dumped into a provided rotating cylindrical washing unit, which cleans, soaps, and dries the litter, and puts the waste into a disposable plastic container.
...or just toilet train them.

Um, why bother? I don't imagine that excess kitty litter is overwhelming our garbage dumps, and it's real cheap to begin with. |

This is baked. Reusable cat litter granules are marketed under a range of names. "Good Girl" granules springs to mind. It has a long life deodoriser in it, too. |
