bulbs, each of which is totally unique.

is because the filaments inside the bulbs
have been individually modelled as
portraits, based on 3d scans of the
customer's head.
To ensure a long life, the more durable
wire used to
make the filament
is matched by a
heavier
gauge of glass that forms the light-bulb
shape.
Choose a wattage and colour to match
your personality and ego.... probably not
that suitable for mass production unless
you happen to be the Pope.

The bulb is just bulb shaped, for
strength and of course is made using
clear glass -
head shaped glass could contain a
glowing skull - which is the "sister"
idea. |

Well, I like it, though I am somewhat concerned with the retina burning qualities of such artwork. |

On the other hand, I suppose you can look at it for a couple of seconds and then you can take away the ghostly imprint of your face for the next 30 minutes or so. The bulb could be turned off while you gaze at the retinal leftovers. That's value for many that. [+] |
