Assuming that all reciepts were somehow machine readable with an amount and a tax catagory [link], and coded with standard information.
why not scan all your reciepts directly into your computer for tax and accounting purposes?

All card transactions, and all cash transactions which go through an electronic register, are already surreptitiously logged and transmitted to a huge, secret Government database, so all you need is access to your personal record (which the Reveue have anyway). |
