OK. So there's an Official Player's Dictionary (much like in Scrabble) so there is no disputing validity of words. There are two boxes of cards (one for each team - teams can be as big or as small as you wish). A player from one team draws a card from the box and it has a word on it, along with its definition and reference page in the Official Player' Dictionary. The word is given, and the other team must guess what the next entry is in the Dictionary.

Of course, this could be a timed thing.

Scoring ideas?

are we allowed to cheat? we like cheating - its an hb thing.

Given that this counts on raw knowledge of words, this sounds like a more boring version of the game where you take turns to add letters, trying not to make a whole word.

You see, [po], while you were busy asking about cheating, I was *actually cheating* and I have now won this round.

lizzaurenpizzagni, Mar 06 2003

no, you didn't sorry. I see no answers.

I gave them out loud. (I *told* you I was cheating.)
