Use Download Plus to set-up a timer on a Computer to allow you to automatically download any mp3 you want by pre-entering the Internet address(es) found in an mp3 location such as emusic.com.
Example: You are at work from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.. Your housemate is at work from 12 noon - 8 p.m. and you are
expecting a detailed message or fax, etc. between 1-2 on your single phone line. Set Download Plus to download at 3 p.m..
Upon arrival at 5:30 p.m., your mp3 album is ready to play or burn. If it is a DSL line, you can have multiple albums set to be downloaded in the same time period.

I know nothing about this but it strikes me as sensible for someone who needs to download things and has little time to sit watching it do what it does...

"Plus" is for being able to run script - think of it as "VCR Plus" for a computer. (Thank You for putting "script" into the thread st3f - I couldn't remember proper term) I only use products which pass muster with User/Tech Reviews. For instance, Go!Zilla is out for obvious reasons - as is Morpheus. Disgusting what these asswipes think they can get away with. |

'wax: LeechFTP gets my recommendation. It's the package that I use and I am not aware of any nasty consequences. (I was acutely aware of Gozilla when I installed it a year or two ago. It went within 2 hours followed by a clean with some anti-spyware). Give leech a go. You may find it does what you need. If it doesn't, the author is currently working on a commercial FTP project (bitbeamer) that might fill the gap.(see link) |
