Cars usually have a toggle button on the dash for the hazard lights ( indicators blinking in unison)for stating problems. I suggest a mechanical change such that a light pressure on the button allows circuit closure but not holding before the toggle capability. This finer action will allow the vagaries of human communication an outlet beyond the simple thanks.
