       I think I read something about a company that wanted to patent the rights to do laser advertising on the moons surface.   

       Or maybe I dreamt it, I don't know.   

       I'm not certain if there was a patent on it or not; I remember reading that Pepsi looked into doing this around Y2k or so. Maybe I read about it here.
