I love clocks, especially cuckoo style clocks and have already added several ideas for them on the HB. This is another one.
As the name suggests, this one features a cliché style cowboy themed clock face, but instead of a cuckoo springing out on the hour, an arm emerges and fires off a cap-gun style
pistol. This results in a loud bang, lots of smoke and that characteristic smell all cap-guns make.
Of course someone will make a version that features a real gun firing real bullets, in which case a license is required and a sandbag organised for the wall facing this dastardly variation.

I like to think it comes out at around three minutes to high noon and just stands there. Squinting into the sun. Absolutely still. Maybe a small twitch around the mouth, a small movement in the fingers. |
