Whimpering pleading homework papers.

Please! Don't forget me! Please! Help!

Each homework paper has a tiny flat microphone in it. After 9:30pm or so, if it has not been written on it starts to plead and whine and moan. Just imagine the racket a book bag filled with such papers might make!

The homework paper also has transmitter in it. So,if it has been lost I can find it. If it is destroyed it sends out a distress signal so maybe I can save it.

Once completed the homework giggles softly and falls asleep. In the morning it cries out to remind the student to take it to school.

Given you've crossed over to the Dark Side, so to speak, I would put in a plea for not loading the kids down so heavily with homework in the first place.

Homework that gets sad when it remains unstarted?
bristolz, Dec 06 2003

Better than me getting sad. Eh?
futurebird, Dec 06 2003

[+] Wouldn't have helped me much. I actually enjoyed homework. <artfully dodges flying textbooks>

"Please, no Bouncer. Down boy, fetch bone, oh dear!" <shredding paper sounds>

       Silly, NY isn't a country!
And my solution to the problem was that I never did homework until I got to college. Of course, that left me with some studying issues, but luckily I found the halfbakery, so I'm OK now.

Now, if you'll excuse me, it's 2:00 am, and I have to stop halfbaking or I'll fail my anatomy test on monday.

What happens if its a multi-day assignment? Does it ask to have certian sections of it done by a certain date?...Hmm. I think I just answered my own question...
Space-Pope, Dec 07 2003

Overpanic: NY certainly is a state, which counts as a country in some parts of the world, if not this one.

Especially if it's been left in a school locker.

Make it insult you in demeaning curses if you fail to turn it in on time ... or scream in agony as its destroyed ... [+]

Why not self-grading homework papers, that whimper if you use the word "interesting" too many times in your book report.
phundug, Dec 08 2003

I don’t think that making homework more annoying and guilt-inducing would be an improvement.
AO, Dec 08 2003

I disagree. It certainly would be an improvement to make homework more guilt-inducing, if it prevented you from watching 4 hours of "Adult Swim" on cartoon network.

I personally think that my computer should whine and plead and get more annoying as I use it later and later into the night. We'll see how my anatomy test went today...
Overpanic, Dec 08 2003

Don't worry, I'm sure you have every part that everyone else has, give or take a few of the more interesting ones.

It’s the homework, of course. That’s why the dog’s been whining.

<aside> Did any other UK h'bakers play the 'Countdown' theme tune in their head after reading [pheonix]'s last anno?

       <bud-dah, bud-dah, bud-dal-ah-bah boo!>

I certainly could use this. At least, a computer program that whined to stop me from Halfbaking during computer science. Eh, who needs to learn Java anyway?
Baker^-1, Dec 09 2003
