My guess is that eating a CJD brain raw would give you the disease. Does an Alzheimer's brain also transmit a disease if eaten raw ? (Cow or pig brains for the non cannibals.) |

Yes. It's called Kuru. It became endemic in a population which ritually ate their dead. (This was likely CJD rather than Alzheimer's, but the diagnosis is one of scale - apparently a proportion of Alzheimer's patients are really CJD.) |

Incidentally, cooking doesn't prevent transmission of CJD. Even *autoclaving* wouldn't. |

mini-CNC machine which would be used to tool a lump of cheese into the shape of the purchaser's head. |
