Auto Appendages

such as camera antennae and back up tails

The back up tail ensures that you don’t hit or drive over any object in your blind spot when reversing. The sensitive, telescopic tail automatically folds out and extends from the bumper to efficiently sweep the area 1.5 meters behind the car.

The tail, extending from 10 cm over the ground and curving up to 1 meter at its tip, does not whip but smoothly waves back and forth to register and warn of contact with any children, tricycles or wall in your path. Many color and fur options are available.

The more advanced car cam antenna is your eye in the sky when reversing or when entering or leaving a parking spot. Below 10 kph, you decide when the antenna unhinges from the roof and telescopes up to 3 meters over the car.

Its fishhook top is tipped with a fisheye lens video camera to give you a bird’s eye view of your car and a 4 meter radius area around it. By scanning the inside screen, you can safely and easily drive into and out of tight parking spaces while being fully aware of nearby vehicles and pedestrians.

Auto Appendages seems to be an extension of this earlier idea. [kropotkin, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

my car has a camera that shows back when reversing. Digitally drawn lines of variant color are on the display. Red areas are danger areas, green are safe.

I'm not getting it. Would you mind linking an illustration?

[FarmerJohn], I believe that someone is asking for a drawing of your appendage.

This scope looks downward to show your car as from a spy in the sky, and no dicky drawings for dickety.
