Breast Cancer Detecting Bra

bras that might detect early signs of breast cancer
  [vote for,

One of the characteristics of breast cancer is an increase in temperature, due to a number of factors. As most women wear bras, there is an opportunity to build into them a pair of woven mesh sensors that constantly monitor the temperature of each breast, then deliver two sets of readings to a monitoring app for comparative analysis. Any prolonged temperature difference would quickly register, and potentially lead to earlier detection.

       Hmm. Not actually a bad idea.

       Ah - thought it might be bit baked.... won't keep long, but leaving for a bit of discussion/prompts for other similar notions.

       We know of one lady whos dog kept persistently nudging, nuzzling and trying to lick one of her breasts. Then she thought she could feel ... something.

       An X-ray revealed very early stage mammary cancer, right on the threshold of detectability with current technology. It was immediately and successfully treated.

       Dogs are already being trialled for detecting cancer by sniffing urine samples.

       //Dogs// - but are they as good at detecting cancer as pigeons are? (see link)
hippo, Oct 15 2019

       Pigeons have the additional advantage that those that fail the training assessment can be converted into a tasty and nourishing meal.

       {crosses "Korean" off the list of nationalities [8th of 7] could potentially be}

       I always envisage 8th as a type of moth eaten, talking pigeon, that hops around constantly moaning about its gnarled feet, which look like blobs of matted chewing gum, with a few protruding matchstick stumps.

       Nice. Having mammo next week. I wish I could just slip on the old brassiere instead.
blissmiss, Oct 16 2019

       Did you know that a mammogram is 10^17 grams?
MaxwellBuchanan, Oct 16 2019

       That is accurate!
