Donkey Delivery

Big Ass Postal Workers

A return to a gentler age, without noisy motor bikes and diesel trucks racing around.

From the central postal depot, donkeys are used to take bags of mail out to surrounding districts. Because donkeys are slower than motor bikes, deliveries would not be to individual households, but rather to a central collection point in each neighbourhood (one burro per burrough, so to speak) where everybody could come and get their own letters and engage in chit chat and flirting.

I believe the USPS has used donkeys in the Grand Canyon on occasion.

I'm not gonna ask why you are obsessing over the postal service [consul]. But this is a donkey delivery to a rural post office idea. not much new here.

"everybody could come and get their own letters and engage in chit chat and flirting."

I'm not sure how far you'd get with flirting with a donkey. But, I digress, I thought this was a way to deliver donkeys.

You could always branch out into some kind of secret message delivery service with the information steganographically (ok I can't spell that) included in the donkey's hair (fur?) as they would blend in, in rural surroundings. "Colonel, urgent donkey from the President...."
