...so that small people who get trapped at the back of a busy elevator car, can see what's going on!

Naturally, the floor is tiered in sloping steps to accommodate wheelchair users.

In every tall building, or just the ones in the Munchkin Land?

Edit - added last bit, as I am on my annual visit to the capital city of cargo cult land, and as always, appalled at the almost total lack of provision for the less able to access many areas, for example the subway system.

So, this is an amphitheatre? I think would work best with some polarised light mit glasses , so those taking a long-hop could see the entire gladiatorial contest, whereas those just going one floor could get see a load of comedic one-liners.

Actually it's just an elevator car, with a floor that slopes up to the back, only about 4 steps. I suppose a grand scale amphitheatre sized car could be constructed.

Won't thing like this just encourage people to be short?

How about buckets recessed into the floor for tall people to stand in?
