Simple device: a flowmeter that can be set to turn off that hose you set to dribbling on the back forty an hour ago, then forgot about, after x gallons have passed thru it. A simple timer would probably work as well; if it's good enough for automatic sprinklers it oughtta be adaptable to a faucet too.
Anything to prevent coming home after work to a drenched backyard is a plus!

I want something simpler that doesn't require programming and a schedule. What's needed is a plain vanilla widget attached to the faucet, with ONE button on it. It would let water flow for oh, say, 10 minutes, then cut off the flow. Has anyone go a link one of these?? |
