A ship with fuel scoops. Whilst at sea it scoops it's catch straight into the engine room, where oil is removed and fuels the diesel engine. The residue is pumped to the galley and surplus may be used to make fishcakes or fertilizer to further subsidize journeys.

       Jack Vance's [Cudgel] once had a job on a ship towed by eels. It was a stinky job. I don't like the thought of all the fish this ship would need to be able to move - perhaps you could scale it to a surfboard ;-)
