Game Show Triple Crown

A number (e.g., 6, 17, 24, or 114) of contestants compete on a game show, say, American Idol. The same contestants then compete on another game show that tests dramatically different skills, say, Survivor. Then the same contestants compete on a third game show, like perhaps Jeopardy!.

The overall top scorer wins, say, $7.22, an all-expense-paid trip to the (sponsoring) convenience store down the road, and a lifetime supply of bragging rights and mating privileges.

Aside from the name of the idea, there's really no reason to limit the series of game shows to three. And an alternative could be to select decreasing numbers of top scorers from each game to proceed to the next.

Producers would have a way to inject new life into shows with flagging ratings.

Annotation:

Can one of the game shows involve the contestants running with little people on their backs whipping them?

I thought they already did this? Isn't it just called "politics?"

And it would be called "Who wants to be Joe Millionaire?"

Yeah, those bad game shows would be better if someone only had to watch one once.

As long as it involves juggling chainsaws while roller skating, I'm all for it.
