Take a clear plastic form, generally spherical, and place it over a pumpkin flower. A few months later and a pumpkin grows to fit the shape. So... how about clear plastic forms shaped like famous people's heads so that the pumpkins grow into them and come out resembling Cher, George Bush, Yanni- anyone! Instant jack-o-lanterns with celebrity motifs? Bella Lugosi for Halloween, Madonna for Valentine's Day, Smokey the Bear on Arbor Day- this could single-handedly pull the pumpkin out of October obscurity and into year long holiday relevance!
