But it's the basic idea.
I thought I had put this idea up previously but can't find it.
Anyway, you'd just park these in front of a homeless camp and offer keys to the people with the rule that they can't leave anything on the street.
Totally voluntary, instead of having homeless camps, you'd
have a row of busses. Not a perfect solution but much better than what we have now.
Now I understand they do have converted busses but the main idea to be clear is the sun and fresh air areas because if I was homeless and they said instead of being in a park or area by a freeway with sun and fresh air, I could move to a dark hotel room, I'd pick the park. I think sun and fresh air areas need to be part of a homeless housing solution.
So the idea is primarily the sun areas.
Illustration of the basic idea with obvious incorrect attributes.

I just got here, so I have to ask the question - have you ... ever tried to sleep in the daytime in the sun ... or ever been homeless? |

Just curious, it seems like you're throwing ideas at the wall and seeing what sticks. |

1- I'm trying to help the homeless and 2- you don't sleep in the sun, you sleep in the the provided cabins as clearly illustrated in the description. The keys refer to the small INDOOR sleeping areas under the outdoor patios. On nice days you lay atop your cabin in the sun breathing the fresh air. AI drew beds where I specified chaise lounges. It misses the mark sometimes, but I addressed that. |

As for your second attack on this proposal to a least partially mitigate human suffering, I've experienced the homeless problem first hand enough to be allowed to comment on it. I've been to homeless camps in an official capacity looking for people who need medical attention and bringing Narcan in case of overdoses. |
