I remember reading about King Arthur or some fabled hero going to a cave of meat and innards (some long past the sell by date) and just the reading of it making me feel queasy.
Snakes, spider, sulfur and rancid smells, Something for everyone. A coroner is not going to mind dead bodies, but something
will turn his gorge.
Have a train with 1st and 2nd class seating going through 20+ rooms of things in quantity that scare, disgust, annoy. One class open so things can spay or drip or drop onto the passengers. The other class isolated and air conditioned. But which class can you charge more for?
Boys to the right girls to the left - So headless Barbie dolls, and GI Joe s in drag offend the proper group.
Plenty of puke bags and gross/goth ride attendants to help set the mood.

The re-creation of the Viking city if Joric at the Viking
Center in York prides itself on simulating not just the sights
and sounds but also the smells of 10th Century life--
including the latrine. It's pretty realistic, although I was
more impressed with the simulated forge smell. |

This is like the tunnel Willy Wonka takes the children through on the tour of his chocolate factory? |

Erm..Baker Street station, Circle/District line platform. the west end of the platform there is like a bridge over the tracks. This has served as gentleman's urinal since time immemorial. It's practically urea molecules packed shoulder to shoulder. |

For another olfactory extravaganza try any of the small streets west or north of Chinatown on a summer morning. I found some poop there, which given the size, was definitely not out of the back of a dog. |

Top prize for foreign location is the roadhouse between Cairo and Dahab in the Sinai. The toilets there can be smelt though the glass windows of the coach. |

Any town or city that has a paper factory in it! The whole town stinks. |

Having dwelt in Wolverhampton for three years(in my youth)...my friend down the road was in between the brewery and the tyre factory. Apparently the worst was when the wind combined the odours. |

Take the train through Widnes on a hot day with a light breeze. |

I was entirely shocked at the Mt Yuk website's libellous portrayal of carbon monoxide as being the "Silent Killer". Not one successful prosecution has been brought against carbon monoxide. |

I take it you've been to Stinkin' Lincoln, [Xandra]? |

It's always a notable discovery whether from man or beast. |

Modeled ride after Disney:
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
or It's a small world after all |

You could always take a tour of a pink slime factory... |

Mr Yuk is mean, and Mr Yuk is green, but that is
his job and his motives are the best. He is trying
to save the lives of little children. I think he
would be hurt to find himself associated with all
that is revolting and repulsive. |
|
|
I have heard that the backstory of Mr Yuk may be
interesting - I think he did not see wider use
because of moneygrubbingness of his owners,
leading to spinoffs like Officer Ug, and ultimately
nihilism for the prospect of saving kids from
poison. |

AND what well known comic or celebrity would you suggest? |
|
|
Pig Pen Adams Family Mr. Natural ? |
|
|
Getting the legal right to use Mr. Yuk to promote such a ride would be expensive and would limit the scope of things on display. |

An entire Amusement Park near here shut down, because the new owner's were too cheap to buy the old name when they bought the park. The new park mascot was almost the same, but people wouldn't bother going though almost nothing changed. |
|
|
If the old owners sold it I suspect the park had problems beforehand. |
