The word "How?" springs to mind at this point.

Popular Justice

People's Court but with celebrities representing litigants

Take the People's Court/Judge Judy/etc. idea but have celebrities like Snoop Dog and Pamela Anderson act as lawyers for the opposing parties. The audience can then vote for who wins using their mobile phones like on American Idol.

At the end of the season, the "Celebrity Lawyer" with the best win/loss record gets a wad of cash donated to their favorite charity.

Sure it'll degenerate into a silly popularity contest and be a disgusting mockery of the judicial system, but so what? As long as it's just people arguing over whose dog crapped in whose yard nothing is really lost.

I changed it around slightly. Hope it makes more sense now.
